@@DynaMick1000 if you look on Chris Conway's website I am singing on Shevox 'Through Mirrors We Met an improvised vocal I did with him..along jazz lines. Let You Go is not my song it's a session vocal for Aaron Taylor. I don't have much discography as I have always been semi pro doing live work as and when I can and session vocals for fellow local musicians for nada or cheap :)

EBay. Genuine Pioneer or alps brand for Pioneer available on eBay. I went with genuine, you know it will work if mentioned for your model 100%. English is ok, probably what mon francais would look like.

I know it's a long vid but, figured !!!!it's best to show exactly what's going on, rather than cut & leave the viewer to assume what I did. Especially if they've never touched a soldering iron before . Which I assume will be the case now & then.

ukGav As for the building, I wouldn't know. It might come alive again one day. I know God's is on hiatus now, you never know though. It might use the Digbeth building or switch to using just other hosts if it does. It was doing that a lot towards the current hiatus, all around the world anyway. Vegas (Gods Kitchen Boombox) etc for example. My one cousin sold out & went into property a while back, stayed as a silent partner for a while 1st, Tyrone the one that started the whole thing with Chris Griffin (in the vid). & my other Ryan (in the vid) stayed with GK for a number of years & later also did / was involved in someway with 'Ahead' Trance with Gatecrasher's Scott Bond. Depends, if it's not already being taken over, it might be an idea being toyed with by someone. Multiple partners entered the fray at one point, I'd been out of touch with it for a bit. They all made a LOT of money everybody involved & came away into new ventures. It's a shame to be in permanent hiatus, as it is a UK superclub brand & one of the originals with M.O.S, Gatecrasher, Cream, Slinky (another one gone, don't know what happened with Slinky) et al. I think they just thought it was time to give it a rest, it certainly wasn't in decline. Sometimes it can be needed. Getting older & working in the clubbing industry some people can just want to mellow out & have a break now & then. The Longmarston airfield was used for Global Gathering because my grandad run the Market there, I also did & so did both my cousins at one point. We all worked there with him, as did a lot of family. So it was well known, obviously to my family for years (decades). "Where shall we put a festival? Oh yes, on uncle George's market". And that's basically the jist of it. But the local council never liked the traffic issues (in the vid), just like Bulldog Bash & also our market really etc. That whole airfield you see in the vid, I used to help organise & fill up with stalls including the fields in summer & it was packed with customers just like the festival, every week. Funny at times but, also a nightmare at others.

@@AshleyM300Would you have any contacts to even start to find out who the buildings now owned by? and that's some great info, should at least be on the Wikipedia page if not made into a documentary. I was in AIR most months (sometimes weekly) between 2005 to 2010 and nearly always with my camera putting photos (I still have them) on dontstayin.com (now dead, Facebook killed it) but a lot of that community stayed friends with each other and could be traced for interviews as well as the dancers that were there most weeks too... Some of my happiest moments were sat on the speakers at the back of the room where you could see/hear/feel everything that was going on, and I never ever took any drugs. Just red bull and whiskey! I remember one night a full on TV crew was in there so more profession footage must exist too. I requested Chris on LinkedIn yesterday, so I see he went on the other businesses. What's the best way to get in touch with you privately?

ukGav You see Code in the vid there was a purpose building. But Air I'm not sure where that brain child came from initially? Maybe with another partner (s) coming into the fray? Just like with football clubs today, some people sell training grounds, use others or even rent back the same one, all because they may think it's better business wise. It could be the same here. I don't know how long Neil Moffet (or Moffitt) stayed involved in the end with the project but, that's one guy to try. The Airfield was also previously used for raves of the warehouse era etc in the past, with the brand 'Fantasia' I think involved, as my cousin Tyrone was involved with them previously, before Godskitchen. I remember my grandad deciding to make some extra money out of it, if they were there & sold (overpriced really then, probably cheap now) truck loads of Evian, Vettel etc bottled water. And laughing because when all sold, someone picked up empty bottles, filled them back up with tap water & sold them for a £1. 😂 Well the part about Tyrone & Chris starting it up should be on Wikipedia, at least it was. If it's been meddled with, then it looks like someone new has come in & I tried to make it look like their baby & altered it. Tyrone had a stage surname if you will of 'De Savrey' at the time (De Courcy bear my mother used to say to him, back then 😂) , but both him & Ryan are brothers 'Matthews' like my mother. It is with 2 't's, not 1 like in the vid. They got that wrong. But like I say, everyone involved made a lot of money out of it, others probably did in the end & just thought bugger it, time to rest up. Off living their lives. Coincidentally, I think one of my neighbors dated one of the dancers you mentioned from the AIR era. At least that's what I think she did? All my family that side have been involved with businesses for years, my nan & grandad owned chains of shops in the midlands in the past, so I grew up with one hair brained family idea after another. Godskitchen & Global Gathering were just another 2. The business side of it is obviously nothing to do with me, I'm just related to two people involved with it's inception, if you like. Which coincides with my area of dance music (obviously the music we all grew up on & were influenced by).

@@AshleyM300 Well, I think there are untold stories to be told... Kids today don't actually go out as much. It's partly due to technology, but I also think it's due to over priced commercialism that kids are rejecting or get bored of very quickly. Theres no brands or DJs to love on Broad Street is there! Be good to at least tell the story, and who knows get something new going.

ukGav Yeah, the 'old' Broad Street & people getting thrown in that pool thing in the old custard factory. Back then we used to spend all Saturday up there tbh now & then, then go off to the clubs on evening. As for these club ’brands' you find someone's made a lot of money, they living their life then they get hit with a massive tax bill out of the blue & lo & behold it comes back again. 😂 So, watch that space! I'm from Redditch & back then they built a fairly decent state of the art two tier club 'building wise' & called it TIME. But it was corporate (UKCN) & therefore a Ritzy & it just killed the vibe, it was the same music you listened to at work all day, all week, every week that done your brains in. It was just such a waste of a good venue. So many of us got together & staged other dance influenced nights in other local venues. Now they seem to have shut down that decent club & moved their Ritzy nights under a new name to one of the venues we used. Pure & utter madness. I don't know what's going on with that club building either? You can see Chris in the vid say corporate clubbing is bollocks & I tend to agree. Here we had club nights 13 to 17 year olds. So we were in clubs from age 13, with obviously no alcohol, but decent music policy. But there was a cross over when you would go at about 16 into proper clubs, so you would do a Thursday night 13 to 17 then a Friday, Saturday etc at a proper club, where you could get in.
